Do these classes meet the requirements of Arizona? Other states?

DO THESE CLASSES MEET THE REQUIREMENTS OF ARIZONA?
YES! We are a local Arizona business and have been providing Arizona’s required Parent Information Program for over 20 years in conjunction with the Superior Court of Arizona in Maricopa County. All of our courses, online and in-person, meet the requirements of the mandatory class required by the state of Arizona for parents of minor children going through divorce, separation, paternity or post-decree litigation.

HOW WILL THE COURT BE NOTIFIED I COMPLETED THE CLASS?
When you complete the class (online or in-person) we file your certificate of completion with the Superior Court of Arizona in Maricopa County within 48 hours. We also email you a PDF copy of your certificate for your records.

If your case was filed OUTSIDE of Maricopa County you will receive an electronic PDF of your certificate of completion that you can submit to your county, state or lawyer.

WILL OTHER STATES ACCEPT THIS CLASS?
This class was designed for the state of Arizona but all states will accept it. You will want to make sure it meets the requirements of the state you filed in. Some states require a six hour class and others require a four hour class. Most of the required topics are the same.

Who has to take this class?

WHO HAS TO TAKE THIS CLASS?
The Parent Information Program is provided in conjunction with the Superior Court of Arizona in Maricopa County. The Parent Information Program is a mandatory class required by the state of Arizona for parents of minor children going through divorce, separation, paternity or post-decree litigation. The class will address the impact and emotional effects of divorce and family disruption on children and how parents can help their children through this often difficult time. If you are going through a legal action such as paternity, divorce, child support, or parenting time pertaining to a child under the age of 18, most states order you to take this class. In Arizona it is called the “Parent Information Program.” Other states call it “Divorce Education Class” or “Parenting Class.”

How does the online class work?

The online class takes approximately 4 hours to complete.
The online class is available 24 hours a day 7 days a week.
The online class is self-paced, you don’t have to complete it all at one time.
The class consists of watching video lessons which cover the different topics.
You will be granted access to the course immediately after registering and paying for the class.
